WINDLife  – Wind Turbine Converter Coolant

WINDLife converter is a low cost, highly effective coolant specifically formulated with safe, readily biodegradable and next generation “Organic Additive Technology (OAT)” for use in wind turbine converter cooling systems.

In operation and at heights of approx. 90 metres high, wind turbines generate enormous amounts of internal heat while being exposed to a harsh external environment that can damage turbine components and ultimately result in unscheduled maintenance down-time.

Key mechanical and electrical components in the wind turbines become less effective if they overheat, which results in increased operating and maintenance costs to both the system manager and their down-grid clients. To assist with ensuring that excessive heat loads do not contribute to excessive maintenance and overall operating costs, WINDLife converter coolant is required to ensure that the converter operates at optimal levels.

WINDLife converter coolant is specifically formulated with patented OAT technology and is designed to provide high performance corrosion and scale protection in water cooled systems associated with a broad range of wind turbine converter manufacturers.
